I need ideas on programs that can accomodate panoramic views from multiple photos i.e. taking numerous views of a scene placing them together to form one panoramic view. I have been using MS Paint to put the pictures together then using various other programs including Vicmans to edit and crop it.

I also need something that will blend the photos when it comes to colour contrast between the different photo's.

Hello! I think, Irfan View copes with this task rather well.
I have also tried the Olympus software (it was provided along with my camera). I don't remember the exact name. But i can find =)
This is Camedia Master 4.1

One of the best program I've found is AutoStitch located at

http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html

You can download a demo and if interested purchase software from listed companies who use their technology.

The great thing about this software is that you can load the photos in any order (demo shows 57 images) and the stitching is automatic.

Hope this helps

I've heard that autostitch is pretty good...Don't know that personally but i'm always looking for any kind of programs for photography and ran across mention of this one several times...Jane mentioned the Olympus program that came with her cam "Camedia Master"...I have Olympus Master that came with mine...I think the Program are related some how... but Olympus Master is a stand alone program...they also have Olympus Master Plus, (that does Auto Stitching)...Don't know if they offer free trials but I would have to pay xtra to upgrade to the Plus... The OM does a nice job....
