WESTMINSTER Authorities are asking for the public s help tracking down more information about a 45-year-old Cypress man accused of victimizing at least 17 girls as he posed as a young surfer boy on social networking sites,http://lvguang.org/bbs/home.php?mod=space&uid=44673, some of whom he met in person and allegedly molested.Michael Theodore Mordaunt, who was working in information technology for Boeing in Seal Beach, was charged last week with sex crimes involving girls 12 to 16 years old, according to Deputy District Attorney Bobby Taghavi.Mordaunt created MySpace and Facebook profiles, using an image of a young teenage boy on a surfboard, to contact underage girls between Feb. 25, 2009, through Jan. 15 of this year, Taghavi said.

It happened for a long time, Taghavi said. It seems like it was pretty prolific. Mordaunt allegedly sought and received sexually explicit photos from girls and is accused of carrying on sexually charged conversations with some of them, Taghavi said.Mordaunt is charged with 14 counts of contacting a child with the intent to commit a specified crime, five counts of lewd acts on a child,Bee Healthy- What is gestational diabetes-, two counts of lewd acts on a child younger than 14, two counts of meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct and a count of possession and control of child pornography, all felonies. He also faces a sentencing enhancement allegation for substantial sexual conduct with a child.
If he is convicted at trial,Hamilton Tote Michael Kors, the defendant could face up to 27 years and four months in prison.
