Thanks again for a great program! I posted this initially under anbkk's topic (Some suggestions for My Pictures 3D) but decided to add it here as a specific suggestion - expanding on what anbkk said: anbkk wrote: > If a user can (optionally) add a lable close to each pic > with the file name (without extension) also other users > knows what they see. If My Pictures 3D could recognize .txt files with the same base name as a photo in the same directory and, if found, put the text on a plaque under the picture, that would allow details ranging from photo title, photographer, date and location to short descriptions of the photo setting to be appreciated by viewers. Instead of completely auto-ranging the plaque size to fit the text, plaque size could be selected from 2 or 3 predetermined sizes to accommodate various amounts of info (i.e. Title only, Title, photographer, date and location, and Title, photographer, date, location and short description.) A syntax could be established to allow the program to recognize and format appropriately various basic info such as Title, photographer name, date, and description, and if that syntax was not recognized by My Pictures 3D, then the program could just put what it finds on the plaque - up to the size limit defined by the design parameters. |
