Hello, I really like the photo editor and use it a lot in preference to my PhotoShop 4.0. One thing that would help me is to allow the "open" folder remain in one location and allow the "save as" folder to be in another folder. My routine is to open files from one location, edit them and then save them to another location. This would save me a lot of tine since I now spend as much time navigating as I do editing.

Am I making sense? If not I'm sure someone will let me know.

Thanks, okrobie

Interesting suggestion. But unfortunately this feature is implemented on the system level. So to make it to work another way, we need to rewrite system functionality. This is rather serious task. Moreover, time consuming. Nevertheless, we’ll discuss this.
Anyway, right now you can quicken you work in following 2 ways which I see.
First is to drag'n'drop your files from folder to application. Unfortunately Photo Editor doesn’t support this operation, but I guess PhotoShop 4.0 do.
Second one is to try to open your files through context menu > Open With > VCW VicMan’s Photo Editor.
