Layer support could really make VicMan's Photo Editor quite popular.
It will make VicMan's Photo Editor the only truely free (for both personal aswell as commercial use) photo-editor that supports both layers aswell as 8bf photoshop plugins.

That combination can give people a free and light photo-shop type application for which huge amounts of really great (freeware) photoshop plugins are available.

OK, thank you for observation and suggestion. It certainly seems to be rather hard, but interesting.
