Does anybody know what causes a single line of corruption in a JPEG file. This sometimes happens when a file is copied or when it is transmitted over an FTP connection. The corruption only affects one line of JPEG encoding. It appears to be a small area of corruption that puts the rest of pixels in that line out of sync. The following line of encoding is OK. Does anyone know what causes this or can anyone recommend a tool for fixing the damaged JPEG file. JPEG fixer does not correct this problem. Regards Steve |
