When I double click on an image VicMan Software opens but there is no image and I am asked to open an image for editing if I try to do anything. Can the images open automatically? |

OK. And would you like images to be opened automatically with VCW VicMan’s Photo Editor? Or you’d like to restore them back to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer? |

Well... Yes, the cause is somewhere else. And does the bug remains when you download and install the latest version? |

Yes. Probaply bug is in file associations. Open any folder > click Tools menu > Folder Options > open File Types tab > find and select BMP extension, for example > push Advanced button > select Open from Actions list > and click Edit button. What is written there in your “Application used to perform action” field? |

What is written there in your “Application used to perform action” field? I have this same problem, It was never resolved in this thread. In answer to Your last question, "Application used to perform action" C:\Program Files\VCW VicMan's Photo Editor\vcwphoto.exe %1 I just downloaded latest version and installed. I am using win 2000. |

I don't know if this is related, but I also can't open web photo album. I get an error message "unable to locate DLL" |
