Post subject:  Internal Vs External image libray
New suggestion:

I would suggest the possibility that the user can have the option to select between creating an external image library and internal image library for My Pictures 3D to use.

Internal-image-library is just the way we now use My Pictures 3D.
External-image-library is to have the images saved out side the created executable gallery.

There are major benefits of doing so:

1. You have one single gallery and lots of image libraries to try on.
2. You can use the external image libraries with other galleries provided
3. You save disks pace. That is you don’t have to create an executable gallery every time you need to show some images.
4. You can have lots of saved galleries for future use.
5. Can keep the images intact and locked from intruder, too.
6. Can break the limitation of the number of images the gallery can show!! That is, the ability of My Pictures 3D to swap between image libraries to display at run time.
7. In some cases, the images of the gallery must be given to customers. So, having the ability to have an image-library to pick the images from folder will be a nice feature, too.

After all, the ability to modify the saved external image library is another an extra feature that you can implement.

Yes, that is quite reasonable.
Moreover, we have already implemented some part of this.
But the main problem here is violation of image sharing services licenses.
So here are 2 solutions: either allow inserting of images with direct URLs, or to open our own image sharing service.
Due to some additional reasons we have chosen the latter. :wink:
So stay tuned! Some significant changes are going to break out!
