Well, there's only one wish, and that's for the program to save animations as a movie file such as avi or mpeg, to allow one to play them on a standalone DVD.

Nice idea.

But how would you like to get this?

Should it be a movie, where we walk around a gallery and watch photos in random order? That is just like in My Pictures 3D Screensaver, with exception of that My Pictures 3D Screensaver “man with camera” can walk randomly for ever and ever. And DVD “man with camera” will repeat his path every 20, for example, minutes.

Or would you like to record a movie where you walk yourself?

Nevertheless this problem can be solved partly even right now.
You can use some screen capturing software like Camtasia (but it costs really much) or any other from this incredibly long list: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Screen_Capture_Tools/.

Thanks for the responses. The screen capture programs degrade the quality of the final output, which is just passable to begin with. The captures often result in a serious framerate mismatch too.

Once the result is converted to an AVI, one can modify it in a video editing program; and from there the possibilities are endless. The user can set the timing of the walkthrough, and can splice and dice the video to do whatever he wants. In addition, music and text can be added at will. The ability to do video post-processing on the output is a must for this type of program.

Yes, implementing export to video is complicated but really wanted feature. So, we will think about developing and including it in the nearest versions.
Background music is necessary thing too. And it in the phase of implementing now.
And support of comments is already done! Version with it should appear this week.
