Morinda Citrifolia
Morinda citrifolia--the name of the woods that stood away from Science Building entrance at the University of Guam. During the fruit season, the fruits would likely ripen and slide onto the sidewalk, resulting in a sort of stinky, supra skytop 2, slimey chaos on the walkway. We'd have to tip-toe through the mess on the sidewalk or over the stairs to make the way into the Scientific disciplines Building. As for the many fruits on the walkway? Even ants didn't appear to like the mess.
The reason why I knew the this thing was that we was a biology significant (and chemistry minor) on Guam--after I had obtained botany and island phytobiogeography as part of my coursework, I became familiar with the plants in my surroundings generally there. Yet, although We knew the plant's name, I didn't realize or perhaps know the medicinal attributes of the plant and its particular fruit. I merely knew that when the actual fruits ripened and droped on the sidewalk and entryway of the Research Building, that the resulting mess was potent, sticky, and attracted bugs.
It was merely later, when I was vacationing in The hawaiian islands that I saw containers of the juice of this fruit for sale in the local stores. After chatting with the storekeepers, I learned about the medicinal along with healthful properties from the fruit.
Now, after you have had some problems of Gout (Hyperuricemia), I am learning about the vitamin supplements and healthful meals that I must consume to keep the episodes away and to promote health. And, I've learned a bit more regarding Morinda citrifolia--Noni. So, I'm passing it on what I've learned to you--I hope this kind of lens will be helpful for understanding more about the particular chemistry and many benefits of this interesting sultry plant.
Okay. it's really a tropical fruit. Similar to fruits, it's loaded with certain sugars and starches and cellulose (each is different forms of sugars). The fruit also includes enzymes--some of which are proteolytic, which means that the enzymes could break down proteins.
Your fruit is high in anti-oxidants and also contains bioflavinoids. These two chemical substance types are useful in eliminating various forms of cancer malignancy and for keeping metabolic capabilities working, supra skytop sale.
But with all this *stuff* in the fruit, there exists a good chance that you can get equivalent healthy effects through bananas, mangos, papayas, pineapples, apples, along with cherries.
The Tree? A lot more Description-- The Noni (or "Indian Mulberry") can be a small evergreen sapling with large gleaming dark green leaves. It is a native of Japan, Australia, Guam, Fiji,http://www.global-sc.co.uk/page/, and other islands in the Pacific.
It's small white plants that form in clusters, which make oblong, fleshy fruit which are light green any time young and turn white-colored when ripe.
Historical Polynesians are reputed to own transported the plant life to Tahiti and Hawaii--because they valued the plant because of its many properties. Your bark produces a red dye, the root base produce a yellow color, and the leaves, fresh fruit, and bark are used in traditional medications.more:
